We truly believe that no parent should have to miss out on the opportunity to receive mental health services due to parenting constraints. We even offer walk-and-talk sessions, feel free to bring your baby and a stroller. Your little one is always welcome in sessions!

Perinatal Mental Health Facts

1 in 5 women and 1 in 10 men experience anxiety and depression during the perinatal period. 

Perinatal mental health disorders are the most common complication of childbearing in the U.S.

Only 6.8% of women experiencing postpartum depression receive adequate treatment.

Treatment for postpartum mental health disorders include: therapy, medication, support from others, movement, adequate sleep, balanced diet, yoga, and mindfulness exercises.

"baby blues" occurs 2 days and up to 4 weeks after delivery. 

Mental health symptoms that persist 4 weeks post delivery, is usually a sign of a perinatal mental health disorder.
